Planning Analyst – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Strategic Role
Owner of the tools to implement new lean planning processes to fit the Primark Model
Harmonise planning methodology for all B&M with the key interfaces of IT, Finance, Retail and Supply Chain
To be the technical ‘GO TO’ person for Planning process for B&M

Planning – Lean Process Implementation and Change Management
Under the guidance of the Planning Manager, review and align B&M processes within the product critical path to improve stock placement and profitability e.g. Carton and Ratio project
Co-ordinate a Grading process that is fit for purpose; improving option management and profitability
Develop and deliver a lean form of Space planning to fit the Primark model

To be involved in the successful implementation of all modules regarding Project Nexus systems planning
To ensure, along with the planning team and the Reporting & Systems Manager, that all Nexus enhancements and modifications are Fit for Purpose and Future Proof

Supply Chain Project Manager

Work with Supply Chain Operations teams to define and prioritise new and existing site processes and functionality to support service and productivity initiatives
Develop and maintain process documentation that supports SC operations ways of working
Understand and support definition of future requirements and how these impact sites across the network to ensure deliverables are ‘fit for purpose’ and support SC cost and service metrics.
Develop and maintain structured delivery approach and plans to provide ability to swiftly roll out Warehouse systems and processes to both new build sites, and sites where we are replacing ‘legacy’ systems
Work with site teams to support testing and knowledge transfer as part of a standard template delivery approach, ensuring implementation roles are identified and resourced appropriately across all implementations
Act as ‘Functional Expert’ for all warehouse processes and provide subject matter expertise for other business projects and support queries
Work with SC Operations, ICT and other functions as necessary to ensure and how these may be impacted by project deliverables
Support in definition and delivery of project plan covering delivery timeline, costs, resourcing, comms, assets and people impacts
Flexibility on location as projects will require working on sites across Europe and the US for extended periods of time

Merchandiser

– Thinking ahead. Working with the Merchandising Controller, you’ll agree on all the big financial targets. With the Buying Team, you’ll
conduct regular trading reviews to maximize sales and stay on top of stock levels. Plus, your strategic experience will help you identify current and future trading opportunities.

– Precision problem solving. Directing the Assistant Merchandiser and Trainee Merchandiser, you’ll be responsible for the reliability and accuracy of your department.

– Range management. You’ll advise the Buying Team on option plans and range building, so your knowledge of the Primark business and individual Primark stores will be vital.

– Vision. Implementing and improving new systems and operating procedures will enable you to shape your department.

– People skills & high standards. Working under the Merchandising Controller, you’ll maintain Primark’s high standards while keeping in touch with your peers, team, and neighbouring teams. You’ll also train and develop your team while taking responsibility for your own career progression.

Inbound Systems Development Analyst

This individual will be the System Matter Expert on Primark’s Inbound Event Management Tool, SiV, and also be the support function for continuous improvement to drive efficiencies, health check of the day to day running of the system across the Business from Origin Processes through to Destination Bookings across the Global Network.
Management of Change Requests relating to the developments within the SiV system.
Manage the process of raising and prioritising Change Requests submitted by the business relating to developments or changes within SiV, working with Primark and SiV Software Company – CORE.
Track the progress of Change Requests against pre-determined KPI’s.
Involved in supporting the creation of UAT scripts and the process of UAT itself.
Assist in the deployment of Change Requests within the SiV system and creating working instructions and SOPs to all parties involved in the change.
Updating any Documents / User Guides relating to any changes made within SiV.
SiV Subject Matter Expert in order to support Internal Key Stakeholders within Primark, B&M & Finance, and External Key Stakeholders, Freight Managers & Suppliers.
Responsible for managing any changes to the Routing Tables within SiV acting as a conduit between Supply Chain and ICT.
Project Based focus to include:-
Process of On Boarding new Freight Managers onto SiV
Consistency of the Booking in Process within all Global DCs.
