Accounts Officer – Expenditure

In this role, you’ll be doing your bit to help by processing transactions, handling queries and resolving problems, as well as supervising a team of volunteers. You will also be responsible for resolving problems and queries quickly and efficiently up to a high standard.

What we are looking for

As accounts officer you will be from finance and also preferably a customer service background.

You will have good IT, communication and numeracy skills, plus an eye for detail. You will also be a good team player and team builder along with excellent organisational and planning skills with ability to meet deadlines. A background in finance is desirable but not essential.

Active Citizenship And Good Governance Coordinator

We are looking for an ACGG Coordinator to lead and is accountable for all the programmatic, management, program development, influencing and partnership aspects of the ACGG pillar. As a key role within the Oxfam Lebanon Country programme, the position will be based in Beirut, with regular travel to programme sites in the Bekaa and in north Lebanon, and possibly other areas. He/she will oversee effective management and relationships with relevant external stakeholders, provide oversight over projects in the ACGG pillar (currently the Badael project), including financial and program quality oversight, lead in preparing and developing high quality proposals and concept notes, review and approve progress and donor reports, and enhance internal and external learning and representation. In addition, the ACGG will also identify scaling up opportunities and new project ideas in line with the thematic area.

What we are looking for
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic senior professional with NGO experience in governance, community engagement, resilience, and/or poverty/vulnerability. Prior advanced experience in project management, relationship-building, fundraising and policy advocacy are a must, in addition to knowledge of Arabic and Lebanon.
