Menarys was founded in 1923 by Cookstown Draper Joseph Alexander, the great-uncle of our current Managing Directors, Stephen and Philip McCammon. After buying over MenaryBrothers in Lisburn in the 1970’s, their father adopted the Menary’s name and all Alexander’s stores were rebranded.

Following rapid expansion in the 1980’s and 90’s, we launched our sister company Tempest in 2000 to provide a stronger fashion offering to our younger customers. Now we have 17 Menarys and Tempest stores, one Store Support Centre, more than 360 members of staff and over 200,000 Reward Me Loyalty Card holders.

You will be on hand to confidently advise on our products fulfilling the customer’s every need and acting as an ambassador for Menarys.

Based across our stunning Benefit counter within Lisburn Menarys, the ideal candidate for the role will have exceptional skills as a Sales Advisor with excellent communication skills and be self-motivated and confident.

ACM – Benefit Cosmetics Manager

You will live and breathe the Benefit brand and share your ideas with everyone around you, you will be responsible for the Benefit counter delivering an exciting & unique service to all potential customers. Benefit is a different kind of makeup brand – all smiles and no science, you will lead by making people feel good which will make you feel great, setting the perfect example, coaching, training and maximising sales opportunities through a range of promotional activity, exceptional customer service, encouraging add on sales, and promoting and maintaining a strong brand image through excellent displays. You will have excellent knowledge on our Benefit products and treatments keeping up to date on advances within the cosmetics industry, demonstrating the products determined to win repeat business through make-up lessons and appointments.

Retail/customer sales experience gained in a similar role
Cosmetic experience is essential
Experience of managing a team, minimum of 2 people
Ability to plan for and organise additional events to generate activity and drive sales on counter

The role:

You will be the first point of contact for our customers. We expect all team members to maintain an exceptional level of customer service that Menarys are renowned for after 90 years in business. Duties will vary and include:

Familiarisation/ knowledge base of products we offer
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Visual Merchandising

Tasking Duties (deliveries and set up of instore promotional activities)
Ideal Person:

A strong commitment to customer service and helping people
Good communication and people skills and be comfortable working with the public
The ability to work as part of a team and be able to work under pressure and handle challenging situations

Provide general administrative support to the marketing team and assist the department in the execution of all marketing activities.
Assist in the design, print and allocation of all in-store Point of Sale and promotional collateral.
Liaise with stores and B&M team to provide relevant and timely marketing support both online and offline.
Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure accurate production and timely delivery of all third party marketing materials.
Compile and distribute regular reports measuring the success or otherwise of all marketing activities.
Contribute and clearly articulate ideas to help improve any brand communication and marketing campaigns both online and offline.
