Job Description

Accounts Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant for our Bodyshop, based at Land Rover Droitwich.

This role would ideally suit someone who is currently working or has worked in a finance department and now looking to utilise their skills across all areas of the accounting function.

Your previous experience may be in credit control, purchase ledger, bookkeeping or similar.

Trainee Accounts Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Accounts Assistant at our Head Office in Stratford upon Avon.

This role would suit someone wishing to start (or are perhaps in the early stages of) a career in finance. Full training will be given together with an opportunity to develop skills across all areas of the accounting function.

Our aim is for you to be proficient in the following areas:

• Daily banking

• Sales ledger – posting bank transactions, credit control, following up debtor queries with departmental managers and customers

• Purchase ledger – coding and inputting of invoices and credit notes, supplier statement reconciliations, payment runs and resolving supplier queries

• Nominal ledger – posting bank, intercompany and other nominal ledger journals

• Petty cash

• Assisting the accounts team with their overall objectives


At the forefront of Listers Group Head Office are our Receptionists, who play an integral part in the smooth running of our front of house.


We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist to complement our current, established team.

Within this role you will represent Listers Group Ltd as the first point of contact at our Head Office. Welcoming our Visitors, Contractors and Delegates, you will need to be confident, welcoming, polished, articulate and well-presented.

Vehicle Damage Assessor

Listers Bodyshops are state of the art facilities with excellent working conditions. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and capable individual to join the team at our Bodyshop in Coventry.

You will report directly to the Bodyshops manager and be the main point of contact for our customers and the external companies we work with.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing estimates for repairs and gaining authorisation for work to be carried out
  • Ensuring a prompt and courteous response to all customer enquiries
  • Completing all paperwork promptly and accurately
  • Providing support for the Bodyshop manager
  • Ensuring company standards are adhered to
  • You will need to be hands on in your approach to help support the Bodyshop Manager in driving the department forward
  • The successful candidate will need to have excellent written and communication skills
  • This role will ideally suit someone who has previous experience working in a body shop environment and looking to take their first step out of the workshop

Marketing Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative Marketing Manager to join the Marketing Team based at our Head Office in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Role Summary:

As the Marketing Manager you will work closely with the Brand Director and Group Marketing Manager, leading all communication areas (external and internal) and marketing activities in accordance with Manufacturer plans and guidelines.


Devise, develop and implement a detailed and integrated marketing plan that supports departmental goals, budgets and objectives whilst incorporating Manufacturer planned initiatives
Create marketing campaigns, promotional materials, eBroadcasts, press releases, articles and presentations, and other written materials as required
Liaising with the Manufacturer to ensure alignment and adherence to corporate guidelines.
Producing and distributing core marketing reports where necessary
Co-ordinate the administration and logistics support for the brand specific events.
Managing and updating retailer websites
Direct Social Media Executive to engage audiences across all social media channels
Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding marketing strategy surrounding them
Collaboration with Senior Management Team and wider business to ensure business objectives are delivered Requirements
Proven working experience in marketing is required
Tough negotiator
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and confidence interacting at all levels
Solid experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Digital Marketing including Google Analytics and Social Media.
Driving licence essential due to location of dealerships and events

Vehicle Technician

Paint Technician

Listers Bodyshop’s are state of the art facilities with excellent working conditions. We are fully approved and consistently produce first class body repairs.

We are seeking a fully qualified Paint Technician, capable of working to extremely high standards of re-finish. In addition you will carry out your own preparation work, paint application and final polishing.

Ideally you will have gained paint spraying experience using high, solid, clear coat technology and be fully conversant with modern water based basecoats. (ATA Accreditation would be beneficial). If so we would like to hear from you.

Alternatively we would also consider and like to hear from fully time served or last year apprentices who are looking for career progression.

Trainee Parts Advisor

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Parts Advisor to join our Audi dealership in Watery Lane. The successful candidate will be put through a brand accredited apprenticeship programme.


An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Parts Advisor to join our busy Parts Department . This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate the development and training needed to forge a successful career in the automotive sector. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

Order taking via the telephone and face to face.
Order picking.
Carrying out daily / weekly stock checking.
