TETC Senior Technical Consultant

The role holder works at a senior management level to define and deliver major technical projects, strategies and architectures, demonstrating an understanding of the customers’ business and commercial issues and contributing key insights. SYSA Senior Solution Architect

Reporting to the Chief Architect for Transition and Transformation, the Senior Hybrid IT Architect is responsible for the identification, design and delivery of complex Hybrid IT solutions. T&T works with HMRC across a wide range of engagements and projects, from helping HMRC shape its strategy and digital transformation plans to the delivery of complex enterprise-scale solutions. This role requires excellent consultancy skills and a track record of delivering complex technical Hybrid IT solution delivery successfully. We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with excellent Hybrid IT delivery experience. You will be able to manage a high performing team at pace, have good customer collaboration skills and a have a wide appreciation of Hybrid IT. You will be able to ensure effective technical delivery while at the same time playing a core role in sales-oriented activities.

• Authority. Defines major technical projects for customers or Fujitsu, influencing their view of acceptable investment level. Determines strategies, architectures and proposals. • Shapes technical proposals to be acceptable to the customer and may make solution/service trade-offs. • Cost and risk. May manage a large design team, defining the approach to larger/more complex solution development and acceptance testing, and identifying strategic level risks and remedies. • Influence. Determines the approach to whole classes of business, leading and influencing others in the development of new offerings. • Business development. Works with customers to understand their business strategy and develop IT strategies and architecture for significant areas of their business. • Requirements and design. Manages a team to agree customer requirements and produce the design, setting high level criteria for the design of major solutions and exercising design control over the implementation. • Thought leadership. Communicates the impact of emerging technologies on customer and Fujitsu business to senior level customers and Fujitsu businesses. • Knowledge re-use. Shares knowledge with colleagues and makes useful additions to the Fujitsu knowledge base.

Bid Application Architect – Closed

• Complete responsibility for technical input to qualification and business approval meetings, designing larger more complex solutions. • Shapes technical proposals to be commercially acceptable to the customer and may make solution/service trade-offs. • Defines the approach to larger/more complex solution development and acceptance testing, controlling technical scope and the work of the design team in order to ensure an acceptable cost structure. • Represents Fujitsu at customer forums, conferences, and professional bodies to build Fujitsu’s reputation in the market place. • Establishes customer requirements for a solution building strong relationships and acting as a major influence in the customer choosing Fujitsu. • Contributes to definition of customers’ overall IT architecture, designing new solutions of significant size and complexity, and can manage the work of specialists contributing to the design and implementation. • Shares knowledge with colleagues and makes useful additions to the Fujitsu knowledge base.
