You’ll have an important role to play in delivering the very best service for our clients, supporting people in your community when they need it the most. We don’t expect you to have any particular experience, just the right passion to join a business which puts people right at the heart of its strategy. And of course we’ll need you to have a full UK manual driving license.

As a part time ceremonial driver with us you’ll drive a limo or hearse on the day of the funeral, and possibly help to bear the coffin of a client’s loved one. But this job’s about more than just driving. You’ll have to think and plan ahead, read situations and respond appropriately- using all your skills to make the day as easy as possible for our clients.

Wills Case Manager

We’re looking for an ambitious wills case manager to join our Bristol based team. At Co-op Legal Services, we’re not like other legal or private law firms. We’re passionate about our customers, members and colleagues, and doing the right thing. If you can bring the level of enthusiasm and experience we need, we can offer you a fantastic opportunity to progress and develop your legal career with a business that’s all about people.

In this role, your time will be split across technically writing wills and managing incoming cases. You’ll carry out meetings with clients over the phone, progressing each case through to completion. You’ll also mentor and support a legal assistant within the team. It’s a big job, and an even greater opportunity to develop and progress with a business that’s all about people and doing the right thing.

Probate Case Manager

Here at Co-op Legal, our aim is to offer accessible legal advice and support without the jargon. Our customers rate us highly, and we strive to consistently provide excellent customer service at a time when people are often at their most vulnerable. Now we’re looking for ambitious probate case managers to join our team in Manchester.

As a probate case manager at the Co-op Legal, you’ll embark on a legal career with a difference. You’ll join a collaborative but driven team, focusing on managing your own cases from start to finish. And we’ve recently introduced a new transparent progression framework, giving our case managers control over their careers by having sight of a defined pathway to advance their technical skills and their salary. If you can bring the experience we need, you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to progress and make a real impact with a business that puts people at the heart of its strategy.

Customer Team Leader

We’re more than just a business at Co-op. We’re a community retailer like no other, where being a member means more than just swiping a card. We’re not owned by 1 person or a board of executives, over 4.6 million people contribute to the running and development of our business. Through our membership scheme we give back to our communities twice a year through the sales of own branded products. Since 2016 over £26m has been raised for local causes all across the country. That’s our Co-op difference.

Being a customer team leader isn’t like any other supervisor role. You’ll do more than set the pace in store and show customers where the bread and milk are. You’ll role model great service, making sure the team always provides our customers and members with a brilliant shopping experience. We’ll look for you to lead the team and help them promote our membership and our key difference of being a community retailer.
