Job Description

XVA Market Risk Manager

Open Locations: London

What will you be doing?

• Working closely with the traders to help them understand limits and positions; whilst providing appropriate challenging on risk taking.
• Understanding and presenting the main risks associated with the portfolio with focus on rates risk stemming from the Discounting-adjustment (XVA) and other books (like Legacy Str-Rates)
• Following market developments across core asset classes, but with main focus on rates and Money Markets and relate this to the risks in the portfolio.
• Constantly working to improve processes within the Risk function and the business.
• Understanding, challenging and approving approximate bookings for CVA risking.
• Analysis and sign off on VaR and risk reports.
• Stress testing with specific emphasis on XVA stress-testing and the complex second-order risk, assisting in the development of XVA new stress testing tool used for Internal & Regulatory Stresses (eg BoE).

What we’re looking for:

o Risk management background, with comprehensive understanding of risk management tools (VaR, Stress testing and scenario analysis).
o Sound understanding of derivative markets, products within the Rates asset-class (Money Markets and other flow products). Understanding of exotic Rates products will be beneficial, but not essential.
o Good understanding of counterparty risk and CVA/FVA
o Strong written and verbal communication.
o Strong IT skills (advanced Excel, VBA, SQL and general database knowledge).

Skills that will help you in the role:

o Familiarisation with Sec-Derivative products preferable, but not essential.
o Preference for good understanding of Credit products and Rates Vol Products
o Quantitative Academic Background desirable, but not essential.

Abinitio Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled ETL/Abinitio Developer to join the Data and Integration Service (DAIS) team within Corporate Banking Technology. You will be involved in providing services in the following areas;

Data Manager

What will you be doing?

The following is not intended to be a comprehensive list but is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities.

•Management of integrations between systems.
•Responsibility for management of configuration/development of integrations, where technologies are owned and/or managed by HR Technology and Change.

This will require close and constant interaction with the Data Integration
•Working with Functional Analysts to design solutions that will meet defined business requirements.
•Partner with representatives from other technology areas to provide end to end integrated solutions.

What we’re looking for:

•Clearly demonstrable experience of implementing integrated solutions. This should primarily include API based  (RAML Experience highly desirable)/ real time integrations between systems, but experience of file based integrations would also be advantageous.

Lead Python Developer – Closed

To engineer and develop compliant cloud solutions that can be consumed by Barclays application teams to host services on public cloud infrastructure. Deliverables include the development of integration code to integrate internal developed and vendor products and services, including automated testing and delivery of these components. Initially the role will be focused on the development and engineering of Amazon AWS products.
