CONSUMER BRAND MANAGER

MAIDENHEAD

Abbott’s Nutrition business is looking for an experienced Consumer Brand Manager, based in Maidenhead. The Brand Manager will develop brand-marketing strategies, using all elements of marketing mix, including product development with the aim of increasing sales.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and develop strategies to maximise brand potential

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Abbott’s Neuromodulation division as a TERRITORY MANAGER FOR CHRONIC PAIN COVERING NORTHERN IRELAND. Responsible for sales revenue and growth you’ll be able to attend clinical situations, offering informed advice on the use, settings and application of implantable devices used. Full product training will be given. You will need to have a pioneering spirit and be prepared to be flexible and supportive across territory boundaries to ensure that all customer service needs are met through effective team working.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To prioritise and plan sales presentations and prospecting activities in an organised and efficient manner to achieve preset revenue and product targets whilst controlling expenditure. This includes performing stand duty at exhibitions when requested and responding to technical questions that might be raised by internal or external customers.
  • To manage customer relationships and provide service to optimise continuing sales revenues from existing accounts whilst also developing market penetration strategies to establish new accounts within the assigned territory.
  • To present relevant products, advising clinicians on the appropriate features and benefits of each.
  • To educate clinicians to a ‘stand alone’ level of competence and confidence.
  • To understand the dynamics of the local healthcare market and competitors’ strategies impacting the accounts within the assigned sales territory.
  • To maintain up to date technical knowledge of relevant therapies, relevant products, clinical practice, local disease management strategies, regulatory requirements, quality standards and business policies.

CLINICAL SPECIALIST

As a Clinical Specialist covering the South West of England you will support the Cardiovascular team members by providing operational support and training to support strategic, operational and quality objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support for Physicians during clinical procedures. Provides primary technical support to physician and nurses during procedures. Escalate with more senior colleagues as and when required.

CLINICAL EDUCATION MANAGER

Due to and internal transfer, an exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced and inspirational Education manager for the UK & Ireland AF team based in the South of the UK

Preferred candidates will be professional graduates of healthcare medical education, with preferred previous experience in training and education roles, familiar with non-clinical education settings, with strong communication & presentation skills. The candidate should be IBHRE certified.

The main objectives in the role are to:

 Build, co-ordinate and facilitate EP training and education programmes/curricula for Abbott staff and customers.

 Continue the development of customer/FTE/TM competencies to ensure successful outcomes and achievement of the highest standards of clinical and therapeutic capability with particular focus on the Abbott EP product portfolio.

 The anticipated split of activity will be 50% field, 35% office/training facility and the remainder in activities around the management of the EP team. Field time will be spent either providing ongoing support and development for customers in account or following attendance at Abbott product training courses, with Abbott field staff ensuring continuity and clarity of best practice messaging and the highest technical support standards within the UK/Ireland. In particular, will be training on the EnSite Precision system with both customer and employees.

SENIOR SUPPLIER QA AUDITOR

The SENIOR SUPPLIER QA AUDITOR will independently conduct assigned audits of Suppliers and TPMs to assess compliance to all applicable External Standards and Regulations as well as Abbott’s own Quality System requirements at a standard commensurate with regulatory external audits. This individual may participate in audits of manufacturing and commercial affiliate sites too.

The Senior Supplier QA Auditor is responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system, ensuring compliance to Division and Corporate policies and procedures by promptly reporting non-compliance issues and offering strategic solutions to complex quality issues. They will independently lead audits across ADD’s Supplier and TPM network, identifying compliance risks to current standards/regulations and may guide in the planning and execution of Quality System improvements. They will be able to provide expert guidance and training to more junior colleagues as well as leading on ad-hoc cross-functional projects, championing new initiatives and acting as a catalyst for change.
